Build and customise Shopify stores: themes, Liquid, apps and integrations with Amazon, Flipkart and marketplaces.
The role
You will build Shopify stores for D2C brands and keep them fast and converting: theme development in Liquid, Online Store 2.0 sections, app setup, payment and shipping integrations, and catalogue sync with marketplaces and Meta and Google channels.
What you will do
- Build and customise Shopify themes with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Create custom sections and blocks that clients can edit in the theme editor
- Set up apps, payment gateways, shipping and tracking
- Connect catalogues to Google Merchant Center, Meta, Amazon and Flipkart
- Keep stores fast: Core Web Vitals, image optimisation, clean code
What you need
- Shopify theme development experience with live stores you can show
- Solid HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Liquid
- Familiarity with Shopify CLI and Git
- Care about speed, accessibility and mobile layout
Good to have: Shopify app or API work, Node.js, Experience with Indian payment gateways such as Razorpay.
Terms
- Location: Kolkata only. You must live in Kolkata or nearby and be able to reach our Park Street office.
- Work mode: Hybrid: some days from our Park Street office, some days from home, planned week by week with your lead.
- Working days: 6 days a week.
- Education: A completed degree in engineering (B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech) or management (BBA, MBA, PGDM). Final-year students and incomplete courses are not considered.
- Employment: Full time.
