Meta Ads in Miami: English, Spanish and the Seasonal Swing
Miami runs in two languages and two seasons. Campaigns that ignore either leave the cheapest customers on the table.

Two languages, one market
Miami-Dade is one of the most bilingual markets in the US. Many residents prefer Spanish for considered purchases, and many businesses still advertise only in English. Spanish creative written natively, not translated, often reaches buyers at lower cost because fewer advertisers compete for their attention.
Run language as a creative variable: same offer, separate Spanish and English ads, landing pages in the matching language, and follow-up in the language the lead used.
Plan for the season
Florida demand shifts with the seasonal population and tourism. Winter brings visitors and seasonal residents; summer is quieter in many categories, while hurricane season drives specific home services demand. Budgets held flat month to month waste money in troughs and miss peaks. Plan monthly budgets from last year's demand and adjust weekly.
Category notes
Real estate: Meta treats housing ads as a special category with limited targeting options; creative and landing pages carry more of the work. See real estate marketing.
Hospitality and restaurants: Instagram creators and local discovery drive visits. See restaurant marketing.
Healthcare and aesthetics: healthcare ad rules apply. See healthcare.
Follow-up: WhatsApp is common in Miami's Latin American communities. See our WhatsApp follow-up guide.

Writing Spanish ads that work
Translation is the most common mistake. Miami's Spanish-speaking population includes Cuban, Venezuelan, Colombian, Puerto Rican and many other communities, and phrasing that sounds natural to one can sound foreign to another. Write in neutral, conversational Spanish by a native writer, test it against English, and keep the offer identical so the language is the only variable.
Landing pages must match. A Spanish ad that sends people to an English page loses most of its advantage. The same applies to follow-up: if the lead wrote in Spanish, the reply should be in Spanish, ideally on WhatsApp.
A seasonal budget plan
Look at last year's enquiries or sales by month and set this year's budgets to the same shape, not a flat line. Many Miami categories peak from late autumn through spring with seasonal residents and tourism, then soften in summer. Hurricane season brings specific demand spikes for roofing, generators, windows and restoration, and those campaigns should be built and approved before the season starts.
Within each month, review weekly. Events such as major conferences, art and music weeks and holiday periods move demand quickly, and Meta budgets can follow them in days.

How does seasonality affect Miami advertising?
